Wood Effect Signs
Wood Effect signage finishes offer the warmth and texture of hard wood with the durability of aluminium.
We offer six wood finishes (Maple, Oak, Mahogany, Teak, Red Beech & European Pine) and these can be applied to any aluminium system and, if installed correctly, boast a 10-15 year lifetime.

Wood Effect Signs FAQ
| Q – What sort of life expectancy does it have? A – The expected lifetime, in suitable conditions, is around fifteen years! |
| Q – How long does the gloss last? A – The gloss lacquer on the product can be expected to last up to twelve years |
| Q – What certification can I offer my customer? A – The finish is independently tested to BS-6496 performance criteria and documentation is available upon request |
| Q – What maintenance does the finish require? A – Dependent on environment; Inland – Every eighteen months, Industrial Environment – Every twelve months, Areas of High Pollution and Marine environment – Every three to six months. Undue Soiling should be removed. A condition of powder coating guarantees is that the coating is cleaned at the specified frequency and that proof of cleaning is retained by the building occupier. |
| Q – Any other hints or tips for maintenance? A – Steer clear of abrasive or disinfecting chemicals, for best results, use hot soapy water and a clean sponge |
